With the MLB season in full swing, there are so many ways to build a parlay with MLB player and team props. One of the fun combinations thought up is the 4, 3, 2, 1 Total Bases parlay.

What to do is choose 4 players expected to get a hit, preferably one of them expected to hit a home run. Then (from DraftKings Same Game Parlay), choose which player will get 4+ bases, 3+ bases, 2+ bases, and 1+ bases. One thing to remember with these props, if it’s “1+ Total Bases” that means Total bases ≧ 1, not Total Bases > 1.

With the rules in place, let’s see what’s going on in the New York Yankees at Cleveland Guardians game!

4+ Bases -> NYY Franchy Cordero

Franchy Cordero has played in only 40% of this year so far, all against right-handed pitching. In those 4 games, he has garnered a total of 12 total bases. But wait that’s only 3 total bases per game? Yes, the reasoning is that Cordero mashed a home run last night against the Orioles and got multiple hits for the first time.

With Judge and Stanton in the lineup, Cordero is getting pitched to because they have to get him out. Unfortunately for pitchers, Cordero has made them pay dearly for pitching in the zone and has provided heavy offensive firepower for the Yankees.

3+ Bases -> CLE Jose Ramirez

Don’t look now, but Jose Ramirez is currently in a 8-game hit streak. He has totaled 3+ bases twice in the season, without a home run. Tonight, either he gets two hits and legs out a double or hits a home run. With multiple ways to reach 3+ bases, and a hot hitter against a hittable pitcher, this is as sure as it gets.

2+ Bases -> NYY Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Stanton is heating up for the Yankees. He stacked up 5 hits with 2 of them going for extra bases in the last two games. If he just gets the bat on the ball, the ball is flying somewhere. With 2 hits or an extra base hit (HR, double, triple), Stanton is 2+ bases waiting to happen on a nightly basis.

1+ Bases -> NYY Aaron Judge

When looking at this spot in the parlay, this might appear to be a weird pick. But, Aaron Judge’s props for bases are the lowest out of all of the batters in this game. So even if he is put in the 4+ or 3+ slot, the parlay probably wouldn’t have as good as odds as this one does.

Judge got right last night with two Home Runs against Baltimore, while everyone is hammering the Home Run tonight expecting the hot streak to continue, we will take the safe route and get a leg covered on the parlay.
