Since that moment, Cincinnati has responded in a big way, going 6–1. Over that stretch they have played like the 5th-best team in the country according to Bart Torvik. Now the Bearcats have a 48% chance to make the NCAA Tournament, a massive improvement from where they stood just a few weeks ago.

If the season ended today, the Gators would be my pick to win the National Championship. Florida is currently riding a 10-game winning streak, with eight of those victories coming by 19+ points.
Much of that dominance stems from the rapid development of their backcourt to complement their elite frontcourt. Since the start of the new year, Florida ranks 5th in offensive efficiency and 3rd in defensive efficiency on Bart Torvik, making them the No. 2 team in the country during that span.

Wisconsin has played some excellent basketball over the last month, highlighted by two wins over top-10 teams at the time in Michigan State and Illinois.
Currently sitting at 21–9, the Badgers are projected as a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament. They also boast one of the best backcourts in the country, led by Nick Boyd (20.0 PPG) and John Blackwell (18.1 PPG). Strong guard play tends to translate well in March, making Wisconsin a team few will want to face once the tournament begins.

As long as AJ Dybantsa is on the floor, BYU has a chance in any game, but right now the overall trajectory of this team is trending in the wrong direction.

The Tigers have fallen off sharply in recent weeks, losing seven of their last nine games since the start of February.
