One of the more intriguing divisions in the entire NFL is off to a raucous and unpredictable start through 2 weeks of the season. With the Steelers and Browns still to play their Week 2 matchup tonight, above is a look at where things stand in terms of AFC North Super Bowl Futures.
Everyone's divisional darling coming into the year was Cincinnati, and rightfully so after two consecutive stellar seasons, and a roster returning its most explosive players. However, people might have been too quick to write off John Harbaugh and the Ravens, particularly after the long-lasting contract dispute with stud QB Lamar Jackson. With Zay Flowers and OBJ in the mix, this team looks capable of returning to its rightful position atop the conference.
The Browns looked steller after Week 1, but time will tell if that was a result of their own improvement, or a major regression by the Bengals. For now, Cleveland backers are doubling up thanks to a dominant performance by Myles Garrett and crew. Pittsburgh will have its work cut out for them if they want to maintain pace, but tonight could be a major stepping stone with Cleveland coming into town and a chance to even things out.
It will be very interesting to watch the value of a $100 future on each of these rivals fluctuate throughout the season long grind, a grind that is seemingly harder in this division than any other.
