Texas Rangers (+120) vs. Houston Astros (-140)

The American League Championship Series will also be for the battle of Texas. The Texas Rangers and Houston Astros finished the Regular Season with the exact same record, but the Astros won the season series thus providing them with Home Field during this series. The Rangers pitching was a concern of mine coming into the playoffs and admittingly I have been completely surprised by what they have been getting out of both the Starters and Relievers. After dispatching the Rays and Rangers completed the sweep of the AL East by taking out the Orioles in 3 games The Astros have advanced to the ALCS for the 7th consecutive season after taking care of the Minnesota Twins in 4 games.
These teams are evenly matched up on paper and expecting this series to be played tightly along the way. The Astros have a been a model of consistency the last few years, but I think we could be seeing a passing of the torch in this series. The Rangers getting back Max Scherzer and Jon Gray for this series will be a huge addition for not only the Pitching staff but for the entire ballclub. I think there is value on the Rangers in this series at +120 with their ability to put up runs from that offense. The Rangers will be able to take away home field away from the Astros and win this Series in 6 Games.
Bet: Rangers Win Series +120.
Bonus Bet: Rangers -1.5 Games +205 (via DraftKings)
