The Fall Classic is officially upon us and just as everyone predicted it’s the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Texas Rangers. Pretty remarkable that back in 2021 these teams combined managed to win only 112 Games and now 2 years later battling it out for the World Series. From an odds perspective I think there is value all over the board from the Series Line, Player Props and Combined Team Props. As always make sure that you are logging your Bets in the WagerWire App.

Arizona Diamondbacks (+145) vs Texas Rangers (-170)

*Odds according to DraftKings and Caesars

On paper I would say these teams are evenly matched from a Pitching Staff perspective but would give the Rangers the advantage in the offensive department. The Bullpens have been a big surprise for each team this Postseason and have been riding the hot hands of their best Relievers. I still don’t think either of the Bullpens are very good, but they have been getting the job done so far. Admittedly I don’t love either side of the Series Line the way it is currently constructed but lean towards the DBacks +140, I have however placed a bet on the DBacks +1.5 Games (-135 Caesars). If the DBacks happen to get defeated in Game 1, I will be looking to place a bet on the Series Line with the adjusted number.

Players Props

The Player Prop that sticks out the most to me for this upcoming Series is Corbin Carroll for Most SBs at +140 (DraftKings). If you are going to give me a plus number for a guy that stole 54 Bags during the Regular Season, I will gladly take it.

MVP

For the MVP of the World Series, I find value in two players and one from each team. Game 1 Starter Nathan Eovaldi currently sits at +1800 (Caesars) for MVP and if this series goes as I expect Eovaldi will have a chance at another start down the road. On the Diamondbacks side of things, I find value in Christian Walker at +2000 (DraftKings). Walker had a rough NLCS with 0 Homeruns, 2 RBI’s and a .091 average, but I’m willing to put a few dollars down on the DBacks Cleanup Hitter.

Team Props

The Diamondbacks hitters during the Regular Season ranked 4th in least amount of Strikeouts while the Rangers ranked right in the middle of the pack. Which brings me to my favorite bet of the Series. Both Teams Combined under 101.5 Strikeouts (-110 DraftKings). I do believe we will see more small ball and a conscious effort on getting runners over and in from both offenses.

Bets

Both Teams Combines u101.5 K’s (-110 DraftKings)

Most SBs Corbin Carroll (+140 DraftKings)

Diamondbacks +1.5 Games (-135 Caesars)

Small MVP Bets: Nathan Eovaldi +1800 (Caesars) and Christian Walker +2000 (DraftKings)
