One of the stranger moments of the NBA playoffs came courtesy of Carter Bryant, and it had absolutely nothing to do with basketball.
During the middle of the San Antonio Spurs playoff matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Bryant the 20 year old rookie was spotted using a public restroom inside the arena mid-game, instantly creating a viral moment across social media. Videos and reactions quickly spread online as fans couldn’t believe an NBA player casually walked into the same bathroom being used by fans during a playoff game.
Ironically, Bryant’s unexpected bathroom trip may end up giving him more attention than his actual playoff minutes. The rookie forward has mostly played a limited role this season for San Antonio, averaging modest numbers while still trying to carve out a consistent spot in the rotation.
In the middle of one of the NBA’s biggest postseason series in years, Carter Bryant somehow managed to become viral for one of the most relatable reasons imaginable. The Thunder were able to even the series last night, and now the two teams will head back to San Antonio for games 3 and 4.
