Conor McGregor reminded everyone why he's still one of combat sports' biggest attractions during yesterday's press conference, turning a routine faceoff with Max Holloway into a viral moment.

The two stars exchanged words throughout the event before meeting for their highly anticipated staredown. That's when McGregor reached over, ripped Holloway's sunglasses off his face, and threw them onto the floor, drawing a loud reaction from the crowd. Holloway remained composed despite the disrespectful gesture, refusing to let McGregor get under his skin. McGregor, meanwhile, embraced his trademark trash-talking persona as security quickly stepped in to keep the two separated before the situation escalated.

On FanDuel, McGregor is now listed as a +180 underdog after opening as high as +400 earlier in the buildup. Bettors are clearly buying into his chances, and Vegas is listening; the Irishman's odds have been steadily shortening as fight night approaches.

The press conference featured plenty of verbal jabs from both fighters, but the sunglasses incident quickly became the defining image of the event. It added another layer of intensity to what is already one of the most anticipated fights on the calendar. Love him or hate him, McGregor continues to prove that few athletes can command attention quite like he can. And if yesterday's press conference was any indication, emotions will be at an all-time high once the cage door closes.
