Before we dive into the action, it’s important if you are betting these games, you understand the market and how preseason works.  3s and 7s are key numbers in regular season due to games ending on a last minute FG or TD.  In preseason, key numbers are 1 or 2 and 6.  Teams will do everything to not tie in a game.  So this would include going for 2 with no time left to prevent a tie.

Pittsburgh Steelers (0-0) @ Tampa Bay Bucs (0-0)

Steelers -2.5

Total 39-39.5

Steelers HC, Tomlin, tends to play to win in the preseason.  The market is backing them with this steam.  2nd year coach Todd Bowles went 0-3 last year in preseason.  This line has moved from TB -1.5 to Pittsburgh now the favorite at -2.5.  1 and 2 are key numbers in the preseason.  I think there is still some value on Pittsburgh moneyline -145.

Green Bay Packers (0-0) @ Cincinnati Bengals (0-0)

Packers -4.5

Total  34.5- 35.5

This line opened Green Bay -1.5 and has jumped all the way to 4.5.  A huge line move but backed with good reason.  Joe Burrow won’t be playing and Jordan Love is expecting to get some decent playing time.  One angle may be to play the Packers -2.5 in the first half.  Both coaches are only 3-7 in preseason games.  But keep in mind Green Bay’s starter has been Aaron Rodgers, so this year is going to have a completely different vibe.  This matchup feels like points and the market seems to be agreeing.  We opened at 32.5 and now as high as 35.5.  Grab the stale 34.5 if you like the over.

Washington Commanders (0-0) @ Cleveland Browns (1-0)

Browns -3

Total 39

In one of the bigger line moves, Washington was -1.5 just last week.  After Cleveland’s performance last week in the HOF game, they are now laying 3.  Teams playing in the HOF game tend to play better the following week.  DTR was impressive for the Browns.  Running QBs tend to help in the preseason.  Sam Howell is expected to start.  Stefanski is 5-2 in the preseason and Ron Rivera is 21-21.

Denver Broncos (0-0) @ Arizona Cardinals (0-0)

Broncos -5.5

Total 37.5

All the money is backing Denver here in Sean Payton’s return.  It seems a little overblown to me.  This line has jumped from -2.5 to 5.5.  Arizona has a rookie head coach which bodes well for them.  6 is a big number in preseason, so keep an eye on how the market moves around this number.
