Game 2 Edge: Wolves Bounce Back, But Don’t Lay the Points

Minnesota looked terrible in Game 1, shooting just 17% from three and getting blown out at home. But with Steph Curry now out for at least three games, the Timberwolves are still in control of the series.

Don’t assume a blowout just because Curry’s sidelined Minnesota has struggled against short-handed teams before. But they should win. The sharper play is targeting props.

Best Bet: Naz Reid Over 10.5 Points (+100)

Reid was the only Timberwolf who showed up in Game 1, dropping 19 points and hitting 3 threes. He’s averaging 12.8 points this postseason and shooting nearly 50% from deep.

Golden State doesn’t have a good matchup for him bigs are too slow, wings are too small. He’s cleared this line in 3 of 6 playoff games, and with Curry out, expect more offensive looks his way.

Pick: Naz Reid Over 10.5 Points (-125) Lean: Wolves ML, but avoid the spread
