The New York Giants and Odell Beckham Jr. could be inching closer toward a reunion. According to reports, Beckham is meeting with the Giants today as both sides continue to explore the possibility of bringing one of the most iconic players in franchise history back to New York. Recent comments from head coach John Harbaugh only add fuel to the speculation.

"Talked to Odell a lot, probably three or four times in the last week, see where he's at, where we're at," Harbaugh said last month. He also noted that a previous workout "went well" and that the organization planned to let the situation play out through the spring and into training camp.

The Giants have had one of the NFL's strongest offseasons, and the market has already reacted. A $100 bet on New York to win the Super Bowl on Fanduel would already return a profit, highlighting how expectations have risen following their aggressive roster improvements.

The timing is certainly interesting with the injury to Gunner Olszewski, and their final voluntary OTAs this week before mandatory minicamp begins next Monday. If a deal is going to happen, the next few weeks could be the perfect opportunity for both sides to figure out whether there is a fit. The Giants will also be working out Juju Smith-Schuster, who has ties with the Giants' current offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy.

Beckham was already around the organization this past weekend while attending the Brian Burns Celebrity Softball Game. During the event, he spent time with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and star receiver Malik Nabers. According to ESPN, Beckham is optimistic about the possibility of returning, and he even told The New York Post there is still some "unfinished business" with the franchise.

For Giants fans, that phrase is going to hit hard. Beckham remains one of the most electrifying players the organization has ever had, and despite the ending to his first stint, many have wondered and been open to what a second chapter would look like. While he's no longer the player who took the league by storm a decade ago, he could still provide leadership, experience, and another weapon for a young offense trying to take the next step.
