After the game, the struggling outfielder didn't shy away from taking responsibility for his own play. "I fking suck. Of course I'm fking pissed at myself. I can't even do a fking job for this team,"** Duran said.
When asked specifically about the confrontation with Contreras, Duran downplayed the incident, insisting it was an internal matter that didn't need to be made public. "That's nothing. It's something that, within the team, that we have, that we work on, and it's nothing. Like, you guys don't need to know. Nobody needs to know."
While Duran tried to dismiss the exchange, his candid comments afterward highlighted the immense pressure he's putting on himself.
