MVP
Finalists: Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, Drake Maye, Christian McCaffrey, Matthew Stafford
What began as a crowded field has narrowed to a two-man race between Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford. Both quarterbacks built compelling résumés, but the betting markets suggest this is Stafford’s award to lose.
Kalshi currently gives Stafford a 90% chance to capture his first MVP.
Meanwhile, the WagerWire community is rooting for Maye. Earlier this year, a +3000 MVP ticket on Maye $500 to win $15,000 was sold for $5,000, highlighting just how dramatically his odds improved during the season. There is also one currently listed on the site
Defensive Player of the Year
Finalists: Will Anderson Jr., Nik Bonitto, Myles Garrett, Aidan Hutchinson, Micah Parsons
This race appears completely locked up. Myles Garrett shattered the NFL single-season sack record with 23 sacks, leaving little doubt about this outcome.
Kalshi lists Garrett at a staggering 99% probability to win.
Offensive Player of the Year
Finalists: Drake Maye, Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson, Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba
An elite offensive group, but one player separated himself from the pack. Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the league with 1,793 receiving yards and added 10 touchdowns, making him the clear favorite.
Kalshi odds:
- Smith-Njigba — 88%
- Puka Nacua — 7%
- Christian McCaffrey — 4%
Offensive Rookie of the Year
Finalists: Tetairoa McMillan, Emeka Egbuka, Jaxson Dart, TreVeyon Henderson, Tyler Shough
This race is particularly interesting. Entering the preseason, Ashton Jeanty looked like the clear favorite. Five weeks into the year, Emeka Egbuka appeared to take control after posting 445 receiving yards and five touchdowns in that short span. Now, Kalshi lists Tetairoa McMillan as the heavy favorite following an impressive rookie campaign. Still, both rookie quarterbacks made compelling late-season cases that shouldn’t be overlooked, as each delivered strong performances down the stretch with underwhelming teams.
Egbuka once looked like one of the best value bets on the board, moving from +2500 in the preseason to minus odds just five weeks into the year. One of our users even held a strong tracking ticket during that surge, but unfortunately, it ultimately fell off a cliff as the season progressed. When the listing went live, all three were either leading the race or sitting right on the doorstep of favorite status for their awards.
Defensive Rookie of the Year
Finalists: Carson Schwesinger, James Pearce Jr., Nick Emmanwori, Xavier Watts, Jihaad Campbell
Second-round pick out of UCLA, Carson Schwesinger, has emerged as the likely winner. He finished 16th in the league in solo tackles while anchoring an elite Browns defense.
If he wins, Cleveland would produce two major defensive award winners this season.
Kalshi gives Schwesinger a 91% chance to win the award
Comeback Player of the Year
Finalists: Stefon Diggs, Dak Prescott, Trevor Lawrence, Christian McCaffrey, Aidan Hutchinson
After an injury-plagued 2024–25 season, Christian McCaffrey delivered a remarkable return:
- 1,202 rushing yards, 10 TDs
- 924 receiving yards, 7 TDs
Kalshi gives McCaffrey a 95% chance to take home the award.
Coach of the Year
Finalists: Liam Coen, Ben Johnson, Mike Vrabel, Mike Macdonald, Kyle Shanahan
This is a list of some of the finest coaches in the game, but the winner here feels like a foregone conclusion. The coach who transformed the 2024–25 Patriots (Mike Vrabel) from a 4–13 team into a 14–3 powerhouse, now headed to the Super Bowl has authored one of the most remarkable turnarounds in recent NFL history and should take home the award.
Kalshi gives Vrabel a 91% chance to win the award
