All - Please note, the reason I post the website next to the odds is that is the best number I have found with the books that I use. Shop around at your state’s books for the best of the number.
La Dodgers (12-11) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (16-7)
Total Over 8.5 (-115 DraftKings, PointsBet, MGM)
The red-hot Pirates will send Oviedo (2-1) 2.22 ERA to battle Thor or Noah Syndergaard (0-3) 4.91 ERA. I am seeing 80% of the handle on the over while only 52% of bets are on it. The over is juiced to -115 or -120 at shops signaling liability on the over. The Pirates just swept the Reds with all 4 games going under the total and just have a 9-13-1 record to the over this year thus far, but something is telling pros to back this game to have 9 runs or more. This total may go to 9 or close there soon.
Texas Rangers (14-8) @ Cincinnati Reds (8-15)
Rangers Moneyline (-135 DraftKings)
The Reds snapped their losing streak by winning game 1 of this series yesterday 7-6. Pros seem to think this is a bounce-back game for Texas with them receiving 95% of the handle at this short -135, -145 number. If you like favorites playing a bad team, this is your ticket. It almost feels too good to be true to me.
San Diego Padres (12-12 @ Chicago Cubs (12-9)
Total Under 7.5 (-120 MGM)
Chicago is notorious for having weather affect the number of runs scored in a game. Cold winds are projecting to blow in from the left at 10 mph. Pros are taking this as a reason to get down on the under with it receiving 87% of the money. The pitching match-up also favors an under with Snell (0-3) 6.00 ERA, but coming off of 2 quality starts, vs Steele (3-0) 1.44 ERA. I just got my bet in on this one. Act quick if you like it as the 7.5 is quickly turning into 7s at some shops.
