New York Yankees (39-20) @ Boston Red Sox (34-35)
Yankees +110 (PointsBet)
Both teams come into tonight playing mediocre ball, Boston 4-6 L10 and New York 5-5 L10. The pitching matchup seems to favor NYY with Domingo German (4-3) 3.49 ERA vs Tanner Houck (3-6) 5.23 ERA. Both the public and pros seem to be favoring New York at +110 with 58% of the money and 63% of bets on them. Feels like some value getting at +110 as this feels like a -110 or higher spot for New York. This game is at Fenway, so I’d expect some runs like normal.
Colorado Rockies (29-42) @ Atlanta Braves (43-26)
Over 10.5
Right now I am seeing 81% of the money but only 56% of the bets on the over signaling some pro money behind this. It is a rather high total for a non Colorado or non Fenway game. But the pitching matchup supports an over too. Dinelson Lamet (1-3) 10.38 ERA takes on Jared Shuster (3-2) 5.05 ERA. 11 runs were scored in yesterdays game 1 of the series.
Philadelphia Phillies (35-34) @ Oakland A’s (19-52)
Phillies -130 (BetMGM and BetRivers)
I can’t really understand this line nor can the pros or public. 92% of the money and 82% of the bets are to the over. Philadelphia comes in red hot winning 3 straight and are 8-2 L10. Oakland has been playing better ball at 7-3 in L10 but have lost 2 straight. Feels fishy, but I’ll take the bait tonight.
