With no major UFC event scheduled for this upcoming weekend, it’s an excellent time to take a quick look ahead to see what next month will bring for the promotion. UFC Vegas 74 on June 3rd will begin a three-month stretch for the company that will feature an event every single weekend through the end of August. Let’s take a quick look at some of the best fights scheduled for June that will help kick off the UFC’s scorching-hot run of summer events:

5. Marvin Vettori vs Jared Cannonier (June 17th):

This matchup between the top five middleweights is currently scheduled to headline UFC Vegas 75. The winner of this one will remain on the outskirts of the title picture, while the loser likely drops out of that conversation entirely with the company pushing to get some “new faces” in that division.

4. Amanda Nunes vs Irene Aldana (June 10th):

Nunes will attempt to defend her UFC Bantamweight title against Aldana in the main event of UFC 289 in Vancouver. Can Nunes retain her status as the only current double champion on the roster or will Aldana become the fourth Mexican-born fighter to win UFC gold in the first half of 2023?

3. Kai Kara-France vs Amir Albazi (June 3rd):

This battle of flyweight contenders will headline UFC Vegas 74 and should be a very fun fight. Kara-France looks to bounce back from a loss to current division champion Brandon Moreno, while Albazi looks to solidify himself in the title conversation with a fifth straight win to start his UFC run.

2. Ilia Topuria vs Josh Emmett (June 24th):

This bout will headline UFC Jacksonville to finish out the month and promises to be an exciting, high-stakes matchup in the featherweight division. Topuria is 5-0 in the UFC with four straight stoppages and will enter into the title picture with an impressive win over the recent interim-title challenger.

1. Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush (June 10th):

While the first four entries on our list are all main events, the most anticipated fight of the month might actually be the UFC 289 co-main event. Originally scheduled to take place at UFC 288, this fight likely determines who is next in line for a shot at UFC Lightweight champ Islam Makhachev.
