Each week, the Noise highlights under-started names who he believes are destined to torch the competition. To qualify, each player must have started in fewer than 60 percent of Yahoo leagues. Speaking as an accountability advocate, I will post results, whether genius or moronic, the following week. Scoring thresholds (0.5 PPR) – QB: 18 fantasy points; RB: 12 fantasy points (10 for shockers); WR: 11 fantasy points; TE: 10 fantasy points.

Oftentimes, team affiliation is everything to everyone in fantasy football.

Take Westbrook-Ikhine.

Maybe it’s the Titans logo emblazoned on his helmet. Maybe it’s his association with Will Levis. Maybe it’s a strong defiance to the quarterback squeezing mayo into his coffee.

Whatever has managers turning a blind eye to the Tennessee wider receiver, the ignorance is completely misguided.

The definition of “consistency king,” Westbrook-Ikhine has steadily boomed in the box score. Despite his unmoving 10.9% team target share (2.7 per game), he’s maximized limited opportunities. Since Week 6, the deep-ball specialist has tallied double-digit fantasy points in 0.5 PPR leagues in six of seven games, scoring at least one touchdown in all but one.

On the season, the Titans field stretcher has averaged 9.6 yards per target (WR22) and 18.3 yards per reception (WR5). Yes, he has Marquez Valdes-Scantling tendencies, but having worked in concert brilliantly with Levis on go routes, Westbrook-Ikinhe is another hyphenated WR who deserves strong WR3/FLEX consideration henceforth, especially in Week 14.

On Sunday, Tennessee welcomes the Jaguars to Nashville. Duval County’s clawless cats have done nothing but cough up hairballs defending the pass. No unit ranks lower in pass EPA defense, and only the Vikings, Raiders and Browns have surrendered more fantasy points to wide receivers.

Most encouragingly, Westbrook-Ikhine is scheduled to square off against Jacksonville cornerback Tyson Campbell. Since Week 9, Campbell has allowed an 80.0% catch rate, 144.8 passer rating, two touchdowns and the 13th-most yards of any DB.

As what’s become custom with Westbrook-Ikhine, patience will need to be exercised. On his stirring run, he often cleans up late in games.

Regardless of when he pops off, the ascending receiver should be started in the majority of 12-team leagues. All the modern-day Cris Carter does is catch touchdowns.

Go deep.

Fearless Forecast: 3 receptions, 61 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 13.6 fantasy points

When your quarterback chucks nothing but picks, chances are your final fantasy numbers are going to coincide with the struggle. Kirk Cousins has served up poo-poo platters the last three games, totaling zero touchdowns and six interceptions. As a result, Mooney has fallen on hard times. Over the last two contests, the once-trusted WR3 has managed a mere five receptions for 47 yards. However, nothing reinvigorates a slumping player like a solid REVENGE GAME narrative. Returning to his old Minnesota stomping grounds, Captain Kirk should smoothly steer the ship again. If that is the case, Mooney stands to benefit. The matchup is glorious. The Vikings are second only to Baltimore in most fantasy points allowed to WRs. More specifically, Atlanta’s premier field stretcher should get the best of his projected primary assignment, Shaq Griffin. According to Pro Football Focus, the Minnesota defensive back is No. 75 in pass coverage grade, surrendering 12.2 yards per catch. Mooney — who is No. 12 in total air yards, No. 10 in deep targets and No. 23 total route wins — will leave Griffin’s shadow in the dust at least a time or three.

Fearless Forecast: 5 receptions, 82 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 16.7 fantasy points

Question this scribe’s sanity in backing a barely rostered tight end who’s somewhat present in a widely perceived anemic offense. In a bye-heavy week, though, true sleepers are bound to emerge. Tremble, who’s coming off an 8-5-77-0 line against Tampa Bay, could be that unsung hero. Against the Buccaneers, he logged season highs by playing 97.1% of the team’s snaps and running 40 routes. He’s only drawn two red-zone targets in his seven games, but given Bryce Young’s growing confidence in the fourth-year TE and the passer's general improved execution, Tremble is worth the dice roll. Also, Philadelphia has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to tight ends since Week 9, so the odds of this Hail Mary connecting aren’t as far-fetched as originally perceived. Mark Andrews, Hunter Henry or Dalton Schultz investors in deeper leagues looking for a flyer shouldn’t shake too nervously over employing Tremble.

Fearless Forecast: 4 receptions, 34 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 11.4 fantasy points

Season record: 15-19
