WNBA props: Doubling down on Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark

The pick — Two-leg: Angel Reese 12+ rebounds, Caitlin Clark 6+ assists (+103, FanDuel)

Run that (expletive) back, Evans.

Featured on The Gaming Juice last Sunday, the Mortal Enemy Parlay Play is back and ready to blast the ‘book.

For the unfamiliar in attendance, the strategy involves tailing Reese and Clark on a pair of props, combining them together and aiming to get paid. Last time, the maneuver proved to be a money maker as the rookie stars each annihilated the required thresholds. Needing 12 rebounds, Reese grabbed 16, while Clark finished with 12 assists, exceeding the proposed total by six.

Can the road warriors achieve the necessary feats again? Will it be another sweat-free cash?

Here’s a breakdown of why this bettor is doubling down.

Angel Reese 12+ rebounds at Dream. Windex, sign this woman to an endorsement deal NOW. Reese is the supreme glass cleaner as the WNBA’s leading rebounder (11.4 per game). Boxing out with a vengeance in June, she averaged 13.2 boards and eclipsed 12 rebounds in seven of 11 contests. That’s an outstanding 63.6% hit rate. Also, she snagged 13 boards against the Dream in an 89-80 Sky loss on June 8. Considering Atlanta’s lack of effort defending the glass — the Dream have allowed the league’s fourth-most rebounds per game (35.0) over their last 10 games — and Reese’s sixth sense for hunting errant shots, another dozen corrals are likely.

Caitlin Clark 6+ assists at Aces. Yes, the Nike pitchwoman has MJ-like scoring tendencies, but her ability to find and throw frozen ropes to cutting hoopers is simply sensational. Clark is already one of the WNBA’s best facilitators. Averaging 6.9 assists per game, she’s totaled a minimum of six dimes in seven straight contests. On May 25, Queen Caitlin totaled seven assists in her lone matchup against Las Vegas. Second time around, her production in the category could climb. Over their last 10 games, the Aces have surrendered 21.8 assists per contest, the fourth-highest in the W. Equally influential, Kelsey Plum and company rank No. 1 in pace this season. More possessions mean more Clark assist opportunities.

WNBA season record: 11-8, +4.95 units
